Hello and welcome to Artlingity, a place for art teachers, teachers, or people who just like to be plain ol' creative. I am a middle school art teacher and also enjoy teaching private lessons to home schooled children. I am a wife, mother of four, a teacher, artist, and a grandmother. I have enjoyed teaching art for almost 20 years. My, does time fly! I have taught everything from 5th grade -12th grade, although for the last 17 years, I have enjoyed the middle school grades. Someone has to love them, that's my motto. That's me! In my spare time, I enjoy creating art and crafting. I love music of all kinds. Good thing, because my youngest son is going on to study music and I am looking forward to future concerts! I also love to read, the outdoors, and my animals. I raise pigeons, have two dogs, a couple of chickens, and a shed cat we just call Red. Yes, I do let the pigeons fly and yes, they do come home. I also enjoy spending time with my family and my little grandson, Noah. Nothing is sweeter.
